After Slovak lessons in the morning, I departed with Antoine, an exchange student from Canada, to tour Poprad by foot and practice our photography. We had the remainder of the day’s classes off since all of our classmates are either in London or Bratislava. Antoine and I walked to Spišska Sobota, where we spent probably thirty minutes taking every possible photo of the falling leaves which carpeted the park.

We moved to Poprad’s town center, stopping for lunch and one of the best conversations I have had since visiting Slovakia. I enjoyed the chill pace of the day and look forward to spending more time with him. (Even if we were perhaps a bit too distracted by each other to really focus on the photography.)
